Alesha Widdall

Alesha Widdall, a seven-year member of the US Women’s Field Hockey Senior National Team, is now the assistant coach for Cornell University. 
A member of the 2016 US Olympic training team, Widdall helped prepare the US squad that took fifth place overall at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. In total, she has won seven medals with Team USA, including gold medals at the 2017 World League Semifinals, the 2014 Champions Challenge, and the 2013 World League Round 2.Widdall was a two-time NFHCA All-American and a four-time All-Region selection at UMass. She helped the Minutewomen to four A10 Championships and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances during her career. The A10 Defensive Player of the Year (2011) and the conference Rookie of the Year (2008), she was a four-time first-team all-conference selection and a two-time ECAC All-Star.


Annie Zinkavich

Annie Zinkavich, Annie Z or AZ to those in the hockey world, was introduced to goalkeeping in 1995 at the ripe old age of 14 and has never looked back.  She played her collegiate career at Penn State, starting 80 of the 82 games she played in, was twice named All Region, and had several Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week nods.  She continued to share her love of the game at Bucknell, Penn State, and University of Virginia, with several of her keepers receiving All-Conference and All-American Honors.  She currently resides in Richmond, VA where she is the Co-Director of Panthers United and volunteers at Longwood University.  Annie Z is high energy and wants to share her love of the game with anyone that will will catch her in her kickers most of the time!  Check out her Instagram page, goalkeepingfroma2zink to see what she’s up to!
