Collegiate GK Clinic

  • Monmouth University 400 Cedar Avenue West Long Branch, NJ, 07764 United States (map)

We are really looking forward to our first Collegiate only GK camp in the USA . The camp will focus exclusively on elite level goalkeeping and will be hosted on Monmouth University’s new water-based turf, where World Class GK coaches will be providing cutting edge GK instruction.

We are very excited that David Harte, a two-time FIH GK of the Year, Kampong Hockey Club GK and Irish Men’s National Team GK, will be joining David Williamson (USA Women’s National Team Assistant Coach) as a Head Clinician on the SOS coaching staff.

Please check out David Harte’s Wiki for a list of awards and accolades that are too numerous to list here!

At the SOS Collegiate GK Camp, you can expect pure GK training (trust us, no field players will get in the way!) and it will also include:

  • Dynamic learning environment where ‘keepers will be challenged

  • Small group training to ensure quality exposure to both the coaching and the ball

  • Training sessions to focus on both;

    • Strengthening foundational skills

    • Introducing the latest developments in GK technique and training

  • Speciality skills, Defending Drag Flicks & PCD Work

  • Shootout techniques

  • All skills will be demonstrated by our staff in pads

This Collegiate GK clinic is open to incoming 2022 Freshmen and up. Please see below for more details.
