GK Clinic @ Monmouth University

  • Monmouth University 400 Cedar Avenue West Long Branch, NJ, 07764 United States (map)

We are back at Monmouth, our favourite stomping ground! If you’ve been already you know that we love the fantastic water base Astro, plus we have lots of GK training toys in our locker there.

We know it’s a school night, but we desperately wanted to squeeze in a clinic when there were no weekend conflicts to meddle with our plans. (Plus it’s end of term.. what are you really doing in class at this stage ;))

The big news is….. this time around are very excited to welcome back David Harte, a two-time FIH GK of the Year, Kampong Hockey Club GK and Irish Men’s National Team GK, who will be joining David Williamson (USA Women’s National Team Assistant Coach) as a Head Clinician on the SOS coaching staff.

Please check out David Harte’s Wiki for a list of awards and accolades that are too numerous to list here!

At our Clinic, you can expect pure GK training (trust us, no field players will get in the way!) and it will also include:

  • Dynamic learning environment where ‘keepers will be challenged

  • Small group training to ensure quality exposure to both the coaching and the ball

  • Training sessions to focus on building and strengthening foundational skills

  • Instruction on the latest developments in GK technique and training

  • Shootout techniques

  • All skills will be demonstrated by our staff in pads

This GK clinic is open to Middle School and up. Don’t worry, groups will be based on skill and experience to ensure everyone has a rewarding & enjoyable experience.

Spots are limited to ensure maximum exposure to coaching & the ball! Please do not wait to book, I always get emails from disappointed people who miss out.

Please see below for more details.
